🔥 Sacred Release Before the New Moon:
Letting the Past Become Light 🌑
The night before the New Moon, under the dark sky, I felt a quiet nudge from within — the kind that whispers, it’s time.
Time to release.
Time to create space.
Time to let the past transform into light.
So, I gathered years of old journals — pages filled with beliefs, thoughts, and emotions that once shaped my reality — and brought them to the fire.
🌿 Creating Sacred Space
Before I began, I sprayed my incense mist in all nine directions, calling in sacred space.
East, South, West, North… above, below, within, and all around.
The air felt alive with reverence and readiness — a field of permission to let go.
I could feel the space becoming charged with intention, like the breath before a sacred exhale.
As each journal touched the flame, I watched the energy shift.
Some caught quickly, burning bright and clean — as if those stories were simply waiting for their release.
Others took longer, heavy with emotion and memory.
Yan and I laughed as the flames danced, saying, “Ohhh… that one must’ve been full of some intense stuff — look at it burn!”
It was beautiful, really — the way the fire told its own story.
The crackle, the smoke, the transformation.
There was so much smoke — thick and swirling, rising into the night like all the old versions of me returning to Source.
And as I watched it drift into the darkness, I was reminded of one of my favorite truths:
Energy is never created or destroyed.
It only changes in-form, out-of-form, and through-form.
Just like a block of wood doesn’t cease to exist when burned — it simply transforms into light, heat, smoke, and ash — the emotions, memories, and stories I’ve carried don’t disappear.
They shift.
They become something new.
That’s the sacred alchemy of release.
✨ Rewriting the Story
Letting go doesn’t mean rejecting who we’ve been — it means allowing those parts of us to complete their purpose.
To offer their wisdom.
To dissolve back into the light so something new can emerge.
Each release creates space for a rewrite — a rebirthing.
Because every time we let go of the old story, we become the author of a new one.
This is the essence of the New Moon — the blank page of the lunar cycle.
A chance to seed fresh intentions from a place of clarity and truth.
To rewrite your story not from who you were, but from who you are becoming.
As the last embers cooled and the night grew quiet, I felt spacious.
Empty in the most sacred way — ready to be filled with what’s next.
If you’ve been feeling the weight of old stories or outdated versions of yourself... if so, perhaps its time to release.
Whether it’s through fire, journaling, breath, or simple awareness — let what no longer serves become light.
Because in the end, every ending is a beginning in disguise. ✨
